The Beatles – Twist and Shout 1963

Shake It Up, Baby!!
You got to love the Beatles. I mean, who doesn’t? It’s where “it” all started and you remembering listening to “Twist and Shout” as a little kid! Don’t you? Of course. This is one of the most iconic, popular oldies of all time and the funny thing is, it never gets old! You can’t help but to dance a little where ever you are at the moment 🙂 Here we see The Beatles performing in 1963 at The Royal Variety Show at Prince of Wales Theatre, London.
Who knew that these young lads would end up pretty much changing the music world and pop culture? Well they did. The song was originally written by Phil Medley and Bert Burns in 1962, but was made famous by the young band with long hair on their first album, Please Please Me.
