The Beatles Set Release Date for Final Song, ‘Now and Then’

In a momentous occasion for music lovers, The Beatles are set to release their ultimate track, “Now and Then,” marking a historic finale to their legendary discography. The song, featuring the talents of all four Beatles—John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr—will be available for listeners on November 2, accompanied by a captivating documentary film about its creation, slated for release on November 1. Furthermore, a visually stunning music video, directed by Peter Jackson, will debut on November 3, adding another layer of excitement for fans.

McCartney and Starr revisited this hidden gem, with the invaluable assistance of Peter Jackson, who applied innovative de-mixing technology—previously showcased in the acclaimed 2021 documentary, “The Beatles: Get Back.” With this groundbreaking approach, Jackson successfully isolated Lennon’s vocals from the original demo, enabling a meticulous remixing process to create a brand-new masterpiece.

In this upcoming release, McCartney’s skillful slide guitar solo harmonizes seamlessly with the acoustic guitar parts played by Harrison, recalling the spirit of the mid-90s sessions with Lynne. The result is a track that encapsulates the essence of The Beatles’ unparalleled musical legacy.
