Gilmour, who’s 78, is still making music. He’s about to release his first album in almost 10 years, called Luck and Strange. Even though he’s still active in music, Gilmour knows time is ticking. His new album talks about getting older and thinking about death. He worked with people he cared about, including the late Richard Wright from Pink Floyd and his kids, Romany, Charlie, and Gabriel. The hologram technology ABBA used for their Voyage show lets older musicians keep performing even if their bodies can’t do it anymore.
