The Peace Out tour, commemorating five decades of Aerosmith’s music, aimed to conclude in Montreal in January 2024 but was hindered by Tyler’s health issues.

Despite the setback, Perry’s comments suggest a positive outlook for Tyler and Aerosmith, indicating plans for a resumption of their touring activities.
Aerosmith Dives into Remixes During Tour Delay
Steven Tyler’s health condition necessitated a more extended break than initially expected, leading Aerosmith to postpone their entire farewell tour to 2024. The band disclosed the severity of Tyler’s injuries, which included a fractured larynx and vocal cord damage, requiring ongoing care. Despite this setback, Aerosmith remains musically active.
Joe Perry shared the exciting news with The Boston Globe, revealing the band’s plans to release a plethora of unreleased material in the next year and a half, featuring remixes and alternate takes. Meanwhile, Steven Tyler, not one to be idle during his recovery, is using the time off to remix Aerosmith’s music. Providing an update on social media, Tyler mentioned that while his throat is healing, he’s utilizing the downtime for studio work, stating:
“Throat’s on the mend, but my ears still work! So, in the meantime, it’s studio time. Starting re-mixing Aerosmith Aerosmith.”
Fans can anticipate remixed versions of the band’s classic songs and eagerly await their return to the stage in the upcoming year.
