Bruce Springsteen Announces 2026 Tour Dates
Bruce Springsteen has announced a surprise run of 2026 tour dates, confirming that he and the E Street Band will return to arenas and stadiums this spring. The tour, titled Land of Hope and Dreams, is scheduled to launch March 31 in Minneapolis and currently includes 20 dates across the United States, wrapping up May 27 in Washington, D.C.
Tickets for the newly announced shows will go on sale to the general public at noon local time on Friday, Feb. 20, and Saturday, Feb. 21. Full tour information is available via Springsteen’s official website.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, Springsteen framed the tour as more than just a series of concerts, emphasizing its urgency and intent. “We are living through dark, disturbing and dangerous times, but do not despair — the cavalry is coming!” he said. “Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will be taking the stage this spring from Minneapolis to California to Texas to Washington, D.C. for the Land of Hope and Dreams American tour.”
He continued with an unmistakably political message, positioning the shows as both a celebration and a rallying cry. “We will be rocking your town in celebration and in defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our wannabe king and his rogue government in Washington, D.C. Everyone, regardless of where you stand or what you believe in, is welcome — so come on out and join the United Free Republic of E Street Nation for an American spring of Rock ’n’ Rebellion! I’ll see you there!”
The E Street Band, Fully Assembled
Springsteen will be joined by the core lineup of the E Street Band: Roy Bittan on piano and synthesizers, Nils Lofgren on guitar and vocals, Patti Scialfa on guitar and vocals, Garry Tallent on bass, Stevie Van Zandt on guitar and vocals, and Max Weinberg on drums. They will be joined by Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons, and Charlie Giordano, along with an expanded ensemble that includes the E Street Horns, the E Street Choir, and percussionist Anthony Almonte.
The large, layered lineup reflects the scale and ambition that have long defined Springsteen’s live performances, where extended arrangements and collective energy are as essential as the songs themselves.
Legacy, Controversy, and What Comes Next
The announcement follows the conclusion of Springsteen’s massive 2023–2025 tour, which wrapped last July in Milan after beginning in Tampa in early 2023. The tour spanned 129 shows, sold nearly five million tickets, and grossed more than $729 million, cementing Springsteen’s status as one of the most successful touring artists of all time. Over the course of his career, he has now surpassed $2.3 billion in total touring revenue.
That success was accompanied by controversy, however, as ticket prices for the tour reached unprecedented levels for Springsteen shows. Some seats climbed as high as $5,000 due to dynamic pricing, drawing criticism from longtime fans. Addressing the issue in an interview with Rolling Stone, Springsteen explained that the pricing reflected industry standards rather than a departure from his long-held values.
“What I do is a very simple thing,” Springsteen said. “I tell my guys, ‘Go out and see what everybody else is doing. Let’s charge a little less.’ That’s generally the directions.” He added that this time, he made a different call. “We’re 73 years old. The guys are there. I want to do what everybody else is doing, my peers… So that’s what happened.”
Musically, Springsteen continues to show little interest in slowing down. His first new song of 2026, “Streets of Minneapolis,” arrived in January under somber circumstances, following the deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. “I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis,” he wrote. “It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.”
With the upcoming tour marking his first fully electric E Street Band concerts since last summer, Land of Hope and Dreams appears poised to serve as both a continuation of Springsteen’s relentless touring legacy and a sharpened statement of purpose. Decades into his career, Springsteen remains committed to using the stage not just as a platform for nostalgia, but as a forum for confrontation, solidarity, and belief in the enduring power of rock ’n’ roll as civic expression.
