The Trailer For The New Beach Boys Documentary Is Out!

Exciting news for fans of the Beach Boys! Their next documentary has an official trailer that was recently released online. This documentary, which is scheduled to debut onDisney+ on May 24, offers an up-close look at the history of the legendary band.

Be ready to be thrilled by previously unreleased videos of the band as well as new interviews with Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, Brian Wilson, and David Marks. In addition, heartfelt insights into the band’s past will be offered by archive interviews including late members Carl and Dennis Wilson.

It goes beyond simply the band members telling tales, though. Prominent enthusiasts including Lindsey Buckingham, Janelle Monae, and Don Was will also grace the stage, sharing their thoughts on the Beach Boys’ continuing allure following almost sixty years in the limelight.

In a press release, Brian Wilson shared his enthusiasm for the documentary, saying:

“I’m super happy with the way the documentary turned out, they did an amazing job. It really brought me back to those days with the boys, the fun and the music. And of course those incredible harmonies.”

And mark your calendars because fans will be able to immerse themselves in the immortal tunes of the Beach Boys with the release of a companion soundtrack CD on the same day as the documentary.

But that’s not all the Beach Boys have in store for their fans this year. Alongside the highly anticipated documentary, the band is embarking on a summer tour, kicking off on April 25 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

From then until the end of September, they will be touring the nation and performing their greatest songs for crowds at different locations. aboard October 30, a unique concert aboard the Malt Shop Memories Cruise will mark the tour’s conclusion.

In addition to the documentary and tour, fans can also dive deeper into the band’s history with a newly released book chronicling their journey through the words of the members themselves.

2024 is looking to be a huge year for the Beach Boys and their fans alike, with so much excitement in store. Therefore, there is something to love in the Beach Boys universe for everyone, regardless of how long you have been a fan or how new to their music you are.
