Kansas fans across the United States have reason to celebrate as the iconic prog rock band announces an extension to their highly anticipated 2024 tour.

This marks the third and final leg of their 50th Anniversary Tour, promising an unforgettable musical experience for fans old and new alike. With no supporting acts announced, it’s clear that all eyes will be on Kansas as they take center stage for what looks to be their last run of shows this year.

Guitarist Rich Williams expressed excitement about the tour extension, particularly highlighting the decision to conclude the tour in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where it all began. “After such a successful and sold-out premiere of the tour in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we wanted to put an exclamation point on the tour by having the closing 50th-anniversary tour concert take place back there at the Benedum Center,” said Williams in a tour announcement.

The extended tour dates will kick off on September 24 in Thousand Oaks, California, at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center, and culminate on December 11 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the Benedum Center. This final leg of the tour will take the band across various states, including California, Nevada, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and more.
