Former Kiss bandmates Eric Singer and Bruce Kulick have teamed up to cover Bryan Adams’ massive hit “Heaven”. Singer took over the lead vocals, while Kulick impressed with his guitar work. They’re joined by bassist Todd Kerns, background vocalist Zach Throne, and Brent Fitz who played the drums and keyboards. Kulick was part of KISS from 1984 to 1996, while Singer joined the band in 1991.

This cover was part of a charity event for David Z Foundation, a non-profit organization “dedicated to inspiring children on their musical journey.” Their official YouTube channel streamed the music video for the track. Watch it below.

Written by Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance, “Heaven” first appeared on the soundtrack album of the 1983 romantic drama film A Night in Heaven and was later included on Adams’ 1984 studio album Reckless. It was heavily influenced by the Journey classic “Faithfully”.

Spanish DJ DJ Sammy released a dance cover of the song in 2001. SongFacts asked Adams what he thought about that particular rendition.

“Everyone loves this song, and I was thrilled at the dance version produced by Yanou,” he said. “It’s always interesting to hear how other people interpret your music, sometimes, like this version, they connect.”
