Original KISS members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss reunited on stage at Creatures Fest in Nashville, TN on May 27.

Frehley played three songs on his set before welcoming Criss to the stage. The two legendary rockers performed two early KISS classics, 1976 “Hard Luck Woman”, and 1974 “Strange Ways,” both featuring Criss on lead vocals.

Back in March, Creatures Fest promoter Neil Davis said that Criss and Frehley were “excited” about performing together at Creatures Fest. He said:

“They talked, and they just thought that what would be great for the fans, for all of us, is if they got together and played some songs during Ace’s set.”

KISS alumni Vinnie Vincent and Bruce Kulick also performed at the same festival. Criss also joined Kulick during his set as he closed out the event on Sunday, May 29. While both guitarists joined Vincent during his appearance on night two of Creatures Fest.

Meanwhile, Gene Simmons recently repeated his public invitation to Frehley to perform with KISS on the band’s End Of The Road farewell tour. He tweeted in late April:

“The invitations still stand. Jump up on stage with us for encores. The fans would love it.”
