In the latest episode of Neil Young’s Fireside Session, he shares an updated version of his 2006 protest song “Lookin’ for a Leader” which was originally aimed at the George W. Bush administration and appeared on “Living with War”. This time, Young takes a swipe at President Donald Trump and urges people to vote against him this 2020 election. He also gives praise to Barack Obama and the Black Lives Matter movement.

“Looking for a Leader 2020” is available in all streaming services and he also shared a video on his Neil Young Archives website. Check it out below.

Young touched on politics throughout the most recent Fireside Session with songs that included “Ohio”, “Southern Man”, “Alabama”, and his own take on the Bob Dylan classic “The Times They Are-a Changin.'”

Young has been very vocal with his anti-Trump stance and since Trump continues to use “Rockin’ in the Free World” in his rallies, Young has been considering filing a lawsuit.

The 74-year old rocker said, “So I am reconsidering. Imagine what it feels like to hear ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ after this president speaks, like it is his theme song. I did not write it for that.”
