Lemmy Kilmister, the famous face of Motorhead, passed away in 2015, but his legacy lives on in a rather unconventional way. Instead of resting in one place, bits of his ashes have been scattered across the globe, making sure he keeps on rocking in the afterlife.

If you want to pay your respects to Lemmy, you might think you need to head to the Rainbow Bar and Grill in West Hollywood, where his ashes will be honored in April. But there are other places you can find a piece of Lemmy’s story.

From England’s Bloodstock Festival to Rock City in Nottingham, parts of Lemmy’s ashes have traveled far and wide. It’s clear that even in death, he’s still making an impact on the world.

But what’s really unique is how Lemmy’s ashes have been used to create personal mementos. Some have been turned into tattoos, while others have been put into bullets and given to his friends and family. It’s a way for them to keep a part of Lemmy close to their hearts.

Last August, some of Lemmy’s ashes were scattered at the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany, where Motorhead had played many times before. The organizers set up a special memorial for him, showing just how much he meant to the world of rock.

Lemmy was a regular at the Rainbow Bar and Grill, so it’s fitting that his ashes will be there alongside a special toast from patrons. And to top it off, there’s going to be a new Motorhead Whiskey unveiled during the ceremony, keeping Lemmy’s spirit alive in every sip.

While Lemmy may be gone, his legacy lives on in the scattered ashes and personal keepsakes made from them. It’s a reminder of the impact he had on the world of rock and roll, and how his spirit continues to inspire fans everywhere.
