The lineup for the Cruel World Festival in Los Angeles features new wave, goth, post-punk, and ’80s alt-rock royalties. Taking place on May 2 at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, Blondie, Morrissey, and Bauhaus are some of the biggest names leading the one-day event. Joining them are Devo, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, Public Image LTD., Gary Numan, Marc Almond, and more.

Organized by by Coachella promoters Goldenvoice, tickets will go on sale this February 14, Friday.

Headliner Morrissey is set to release his latest album titled “I am Not a Dog on a Chain” this March 20. Bauhaus recently reunited and they played their first show in 13 years back in 2019. They also have a couple of shows in June and July. Blondie co-founders Debbie Harry and Chris have a series of gigs in Germany and the UK starting this March.
