Say It Isn’t So!

James Hetfield is the best person to lead one of the greatest rock bands ever, we know. I mean, can you imagine anyone but him on stage performing Master of Puppets, Seek & Destroy or Enter Sandman? Can you think of anyone worthy enough to fill in his shoes? Well, once upon a time, the band’s original manager Jon Zazula, BRIEFLY considered having drummer Lars Ulrich take James’ spot. Wait, what? Yep, during those days, James wasn’t as confident as he is now which is why Lars ALMOST took over the vocal duties.

“Lars and I planned a lot of stuff. But James wasn’t the most confident of singers. I don’t think he felt comfortable,” Jon said. “At one point there was even talk of Lars becoming the frontman. For about five seconds.”

So what IF the lineup has really been scrambled? Wonder no more and check this out for yourselves.
