What She Can Do With The Violin Will AMAZE You, She Crushes This Joan Jett Classic!
I LOVE Rock N’ Roll
We all know and love Joan Jet’s “I Love Rock N’ Roll” but you have never seen it quite this way! In a completely lyric-free, instrumental rendition, Cristina Kiseleff, rocks this awesome song with the best instrument in the world, the violin!
“Singing, I love rock and roll, so put another dime in the jukebox, baby. I love rock and roll….”
Originally recorded by British rock group The Arrows in 1975, “I Love Rock N’ Roll” did not see its fame until the wonderful and talented Joan Jett discovered it and begged for a copy to cover. Joan’s cover went on to being one of the most famous rock and roll covers we still hear today, hitting U.S. Billboard Hot 100 number-one single for 7 weeks straight.
Interesting Fact: In the original version, the lyrics are about a guy picking up a young girl and taking her home, which was fairly typical rock and roll subject matter. When Jett covered this, however, it became a song about a girl who notices a guy next to a jukebox and brings him home to have make love.
Watch Cristina nail this perfect and innovative rendition and sing along below! You know you want to!
