In the 2018 biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, we were all blown away by how Rami Malek completely transformed himself into Freddie Mercury. But as a Hollywood actor, he definitely had plenty of help just to look like the iconic rockstar. And so when we stumbled upon this makeup tutorial, we can’t help but feel like everyone needs to see it.

Sure, Halloween is over but just in case you want to look like Freddie, Santi Bayon’s got you covered. You will need a couple of products but it all boils down to skills. And Bayon has a bucketful of them. Watching his transformation is spectacular. As it slowly comes together, we got hit by a huge wave of nostalgia. Freddie would be incredibly proud of this especially since he always appreciated raw talent.

It’s been almost 28 years since Freddie passed away and yet, his influence and impact on music and pop culture remains unmatched. He was larger-than-life – with a flamboyant onstage persona, an impressive range, and outstanding songwriting skills. But more than that, he was also sassy. He was once asked how he’d describe himself as an artist and he replied with, “No, myself as an artist…I’m just a musical prostitute, dear.”
