Metallica has shared a professionally-filmed video of their live performance of the 1996 track, “Until It Sleeps” taken from their May 26 show in Hamburg, Germany.

The song was released as the lead single for their sixth studio album Load. It reached the US Top 10 hit upon its initial release, helping the California band top the charts at home and around the world.

Metallica will continue their two-year tour in support of the new album, 72 Seasons. The first of two nights at Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion saw the legendary band deliver a 16-song set that includes some of their classic songs, opened with the 1984 classic, “Creeping Death,” and closed with the 1991 hit “Enter Sandman.”

They are scheduled to perform in various European cities before heading to the United States. Their initial shows in America will take place on August 4th and 6th at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

72 Seasons was released on April 14. Produced by Greg Fidelman, James Hetfield, and Lars Ulrich, the record marks the band’s first new studio album since 2016’s Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.

Live recordings of the pair of Hamburg shows are now available for pre-order at Metallica’s official online store. Watch the band’s iconic live performance of “Until It Sleeps” in the video below.
