Ghost lead singer Tobias Forge, also known as Papa Emeritus IV, had an appearance at the Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball home game on September 22 at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The frontman threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game. He shared the news on social media posting a photo of himself wearing full stage gear as part of the mockup of a baseball card.

Ahead of the game of Sox against the Cleveland Guardians, Papa IV posted:

“We wish to inform you that it’s 1, 2, 3 strikes you’re out at the old ball game!”

The singer took the mound before delivering a pitch to White Sox All-Star closer Liam Hendriks.

Meanwhile, the night before Papa’s appearance at the game, Ghost performed in Peoria, IL as part of their North American tour in support of their latest album, Impera. The trek is scheduled to wrap up on September 23 in Green Bay, WI. Watch the video below.
