During the final stop of Roger Taylor’s 14-date U.K. solo tour in London, he brought out his Queen bandmate Brian May for a surprise number. May took the stage at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

Taylor was wrapping up his trek in support of his latest album titled “Outsider”, which was released on October 1. Taylor performed classic Queen songs along with his solo tracks. He then welcomed May for a cover of Little Richard’s “Tutti Frutti”. The pair also played Queen’s “A Kind Of Magic”.

Taylor told the crowd, “It’s my brother from another mother!”

In a recent interview, Taylor revealed they had actually started working on a new song for Queen but May “suddenly lost interest”.

“We started it in Nashville when we were all quite tired,” Taylor explained. “We couldn’t decide on a title and the lyric felt a little too negative for Queen, maybe. But it was pretty damn good, and I hope it comes to light.”

Meanwhile, Queen + Adam Lambert are set to launch their Rhapsody Tour on May 27 in Belfast, Ireland.

“The mothership goes out, and I can’t wait,” Taylor shared. “It’s Europe. We’d love to come back to the States, because it’s so great. It works so well there, and everything is easier to organize.”
