Rain Hannah, the longtime girlfriend of Mötley Crüe’s frontman Vince Neil, recently re-emerged on social media, marking her first public appearance since surviving a tragic plane crash earlier this year.

Hannah is a skilled beauty instructor and makeup artist, and she and Neil have been together since 2011. Her personal interests go beyond her work. She is very interested in horse sports, especially barrel racing. The couple’s shared love of horses has been a strong bonding factor, as Neil is also a huge horse fan.

A Warm Message to Fans

In her recent Instagram post, Rain greeted her followers with a cheerful message. She wrote:

“Howdy Y’all! It’s been a minute since I showed my face.
“A few asked. So, here’s a selfie. And sorry, I don’t check my DM’s often on Instagram or Facebook.”

Fans who were worried during her social media break were comforted by this post.

The February Incident

The terrible plane crash happened at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on February 10, 2025. Around 2:45 p.m. local time, Rain was on a Learjet 35A when the landing gear failed. The aircraft veered off the runway due to the failure and struck a parked Gulfstream 200 business jet. Sadly, the tragedy claimed the life of the pilot, Joie Vitosky, a 78-year-old Marine veteran.

Injuries and Recovery

Rain had five broken ribs in the accident. She was taken right away to a hospital for emergency care, along with the other survivors, including her friend Ashley. Since then, both women have been freed and are recovering.

Support from Vince Neil and Mötley Crüe and Hannah’s Recovery

In the aftermath, Vince Neil expressed his gratitude to the first responders and extended his sympathies to all affected by the tragedy. Mötley Crüe’s management has initiated efforts to support the families impacted by the accident.

Rain’s most recent post on social media is a good sign that she is getting better. Fans and family members are still rallying around her and giving her loyal support as she heals from the traumatic event.
