The Warning: The Next Big Thing
When The Warning recorded themselves covering Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’, the sisters had no idea where it would lead them. After all, they’re just three kids hailing from Mexico who really, really loved playing their favorite classic rock and metal tunes together. However, once the world got wind of this fantastic Metallica cover – that, to be quite honest, these ladies shred – the floodgates opened.
From endorsement deals and music school scholarships to appearances on Ellen and shoutouts from Metallica themselves, it’s clear that these young ladies are well on their way to an incredibly bright future.
Don’t even get me started on their musicianship; from frontwoman Daniela’s chops as a guitarist and singer, to little Alejandra holding it down on bass and drummer Paulina absolutely killing iton drums and vocals, we think it’s safe to offer up another prediction: you’re going to be seeing a lot of The Warning in the next few months and years, and something tells me it’s going to be pretty damned good.
Fun Fact: Metallica’s Kirk Hammett loves The Warning! He made their day in 2014 when he tweeted at the young ladies, saying how much he liked the drummer!

With their pure musical skill evidenced by singer and lead guitarist (and big sister!) Daniela’s guitar solo and stage presence reminiscent of James Hetfield, bass player Alejandra’s dedication to keeping her big sisters on beat, and drummer Paulina’s killer sense of rhythm and timing, it’s no wonder that their cover of ‘Enter Sandman’ has accumulated over 10 million views!
