Get ready to groove, because the legendary Rolling Stones are back in town with a new music video that’s not just cool but downright groovy! “Angry” is the lead single from their upcoming album, “Hackney Diamonds,” and it’s a blast from the past that’ll make you want to twist and shout.

The Stones-branded convertible car cruises down the iconic Sunset Boulevard in sunny Los Angeles, and who’s in the driver’s seat?

None other than Sydney Sweeney, the star of “Euphoria” and “White Lotus.” She’s not just driving; she’s rocking out, lip-syncing, and playing air guitar like there’s no tomorrow. And here’s the fun part – as she passes those classic Rolling Stones billboards, they spring to life! It’s like time travel, baby, taking you back to a time when LA traffic flowed smoother than a dance floor in the ’40s.

But that’s not all – the song itself is a classic Stones jam, with Keith Richards’ killer riff and a tale of lovers’ quarrels. Mick Jagger kicks it off with a cheeky line, “Don’t get angry with me / I never caused you no pain.” Legalities aside, it sets the stage for a rock ‘n’ roll rollercoaster.

As the song goes on, Jagger’s got more to sing – “It hasn’t rained in a month, the river’s run dry / We haven’t made love, and I wanna know why.” No need to read between the lines there!

Now, here’s where the fun really kicks in: the video premiered at London’s Hackney Empire, and the Stones had a chat with Jimmy Fallon.

Mick spilled the beans on the album, revealing that it was produced by the one and only Andrew Watt, known for his work with rock legends like Ozzy Osbourne and modern hit-makers like Post Malone and Miley Cyrus. The band’s journey for this album started in Jamaica in 2022, swung by New York for studio sessions, and wrapped up in Los Angeles, where they recorded a whopping 23 songs. And guess what? Twelve of those tracks will be on the album. Party time!

Hold onto your hats because there’s more excitement.

The album features guest appearances from none other than Lady Gaga and the legendary Stevie Wonder. Plus, they’ve added some extra magic by using drum tracks recorded by the late Charlie Watts on two songs. That’s a rock ‘n’ roll tribute right there.

Before all this excitement, the Stones kicked off their album promotion with a sneaky ad in the Hackney Gazette. It looked like a glass repair business called Hackney Diamonds but slyly dropped hints to three of the band’s song titles. These guys know how to keep things fun and mysterious!

So, in a nutshell…

The Rolling Stones are back, and they’re bringing the fun back to rock ‘n’ roll. “Angry” is just a taste of what’s to come with “Hackney Diamonds,” and if this music video is any indication, we’re in for a wild ride through music history. Dust off those dancing shoes, because the Stones are here to get the party started, and it’s going to be a rockin’ good time!
