Stevie Nicks and Other Big Names Will Lead Star-Packed Jazz Fest 2026 Lineup

Stevie Nicks

Music fans planning their spring trips may want to circle one destination early. New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival is preparing another massive return in 2026, bringing together a wide mix of artists that stretches far beyond its name.

Set across late April and early May, the event once again promises a blend of legacy performers and modern acts. This year’s announcement has already stirred attention, largely because of the headline names leading the bill.

Legends Take Center Stage

Among the biggest draws are artists who have shaped popular music for decades. Eagles are set to appear, marking their first major festival performance since stepping away from their extended run at Sphere in Las Vegas in mid-2024. Their inclusion alone signals how significant this year’s lineup is expected to be.

They will share top billing with Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, David Byrne, and Mavis Staples. Each brings a different sound, but all carry long histories that continue to attract audiences across generations.

A Lineup That Crosses Every Style

Beyond the headliners, the schedule expands quickly into a wide field of performers. Artists such as Lainey Wilson, Herbie Hancock, and Little Feat add depth across genres.

Other names include The Black Keys, Rickie Lee Jones, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kings of Leon, and Irma Thomas. The mix continues with acts that move between rock, jazz, R&B, and modern pop, creating a schedule that rarely stays in one lane for long.

Two Weekends of Music and Culture

The festival runs in two parts, first from April 23 to 26, then returning from April 30 to May 3. Both segments take place at the Fair Grounds Race Course, a location that has hosted the event for years.

A single-day ticket gives access to every performance scheduled for that date. Beyond the stages, visitors can explore local food, crafts, and art displays, which remain a central part of the experience. Early ticket options are already available for those planning ahead.

More Than Just a Music Event

Since its start in 1970, Jazz Fest has built a reputation for celebrating the culture of New Orleans. While music is the main attraction, the event also reflects the city’s history through its food, traditions, and community presence.

The 2026 edition continues that approach with a lineup that stretches even further. Performers like Lorde, Nas, Jon Batiste, St. Vincent, and Sean Paul reflect the festival’s broad reach.

With hundreds of acts expected across multiple stages, the 2026 schedule shows how the event continues to grow while staying tied to its roots.
