Steven Tyler Denies Allegations
Attorneys representing Steven Tyler have denied allegations made against the singer claiming that he sexually assaulted a minor in the 1970s. Julia Holcomb, who filed a lawsuit against Tyler in December 2022, accused him of referring to her as his “teen bride” in his memoir and engaging in non-consensual conduct. In response, Tyler’s attorneys filed an answer that listed several potential defenses, including that Holcomb had consented to the alleged behavior or that Tyler was immune from her claims due to being granted legal custody over her.

Tyler, who is currently 75 years old, has requested that a lawsuit against him be dropped. He has denied all allegations made against him and cited 24 affirmative defenses to support his position. Tyler has even gone as far as to claim that the plaintiff, Julia Misley, previously known as Julia Holcomb, has not suffered any injury or damage as a result of his actions.

New court documents reveal that in response to accusations of sexual assault and battery made by Julia Misley, rock star Steven Tyler has denied the allegations. Misley claimed that Tyler forced her to get an abortion during their relationship in the 1970s and that he coerced her into believing they had a romantic affair when she was just 16 years old and he was 25. Tyler has denied all allegations of sexual misconduct and coercion, and the case is currently ongoing. The allegations against Tyler are the latest in a string of accusations of sexual misconduct and abuse made against high-profile figures in the music industry, prompting a wider conversation about the need for accountability and reform in the industry.
