A Performance of a lifetime
Aside from a select number of reunions, Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters and David Gilmour have been touring separately for years. Both have been parading around Pink Floyd’s catalogue in their sets, with Waters even turing the band’s critically acclaimed album The Wall into a theatrical masterpiece. Lately, Waters has been the most active member of the tour, preparing for October’s highly anticipated Desert Trip mega concert. In preparation, Waters decided to surprise the people of Mexico City with an unforgettable warm-up concert!
Waters surprised a crowd of over 200,000 people with a free, fully-loaded concert set! The free concert took place at the Plaza de la Constitución, and saw Waters perform an expansive setlist of Pink Floyd’s work spanning from their early to later days!
During the performance, Waters took a few jabs at The US and Mexico governments. But the main focus was the music, and the preparation for Desert Trip. We’ll include the setlist down below, as well as the concert in its entirety! Check it out and enjoy!
