Robert Plant guested Alison Krauss in his recent episode of Digging Deep podcast and they talked about the opening track “Quattro (World Drifts In)” from their second album together Raise The Roof.

The duo had their own rendition of “Quattro (World Drifts In)” which is originally released in 2003 by the Arizona-based indie band Calexico. It’s one of the 14 tracks in Raise The Roof which debuted at No. 7 on the US Billboard 200 and can be bought in three different limited edition vinyl in yellow, red, and green.

Their second collaborative album also features their classic folk and Americana sound following their Grammy Award-winning 2007 record Raising Sand with 13 tracks that earned five Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

Last month, the pair announced their extended summer leg, which marks as their first tour together in more than a decade. The first series of dates for their 2022 world tour will start with US shows in June and a 3-week run across Europe and will continue to through September. Tickets are now available on Robert Plant’s official website.

In a previous interview, Plant admitted regarding the second LP with Krauss:

“There was a little bit of trepidation on my part.

“I wasn’t sure whether we could reinvoke what we had. But it was very short-lived, that question of whether or not it was real. It was like, I bow to her and she curtsies to me, and we see what we can do.”
