Check It Out

Paul McCartney wrote several classic hits for The Beatles and was often the band’s main creative force during their heyday. As such, it’s understandably difficult for him to pick just one favorite album. Nevertheless, he revealed in the interview below what it is and even went on to explain why he loved it so much.

He did say at the beginning that he doesn’t “make any differentiation between the albums”. He also commented that “I kind of think for their time and for the musical knowledge we had, each one’s got something special” which we totally agree with especially because at their peak, The Fab Four churned out one spectacular album after another.

And his pick would probably pretty obvious to any Beatles fan because it’s no secret how much love he has for that particular masterpiece. But he noted, “I had a lot to do with it…. It wasn’t entirely my idea but yeah.”

He then added, “I’d probably choose that if I had to but I wouldn’t want to. I prefer to sort of have each one for what they meant at the time… So I wouldn’t like to choose, really.”
