Vedder didn’t even see it coming!

Everyone is familiar with the hilarious story of Keith Richards getting punched in the face by Chuck Berry, or the story of Jim Morrison getting mugged by Janis Joplin. These stories are classics, and will give anyone a good laugh. Well, apparently rockstars just love punching their peers in the face, because another face punching story has now surfaced!

Eddie Vedder has revealed, during an interview on Sirius XM, that Beatles legend Paul McCartney once punched him in the face! But, it was an accident. Paul and Eddie were talking in a hotel bar in Seattle, and Paul went into a story which involved him miming a fist fight. Well, Paul got a little carried away with the miming, and a loose first caught Vedder right in the face!

I remember tasting a bit of blood. And I remember when it went away, when the pain subsided and the swelling went down. I kinda missed it.“- Vedder said.

Eddie said that Paul immediately apologized, and the two were able to laugh it off pretty quickly! Either way, it still stands as a great story, and we hope they still laugh about it to this day! The interview is down below! Check it out!
