Bought in 2015, Back on the Market in 2026

Ozzy Osbourne (who passed away July 22, 2025) and Sharon Osbourne’s Los Angeles home is on the market again by Sharon, this time with a $17 million asking price. The Hancock Park property was purchased by Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne in 2015 for $11.85 million, so the new list price puts it roughly $5.15 million above what they paid. That price jump alone makes it a notable celebrity real-estate story, but the home also carries extra weight because it became one of the couple’s most recognizable bases during their later years in Los Angeles.

WSJ Real Estate Put the Home in Front of Fans

The home’s return to market also got an extra push on social media. WSJ Real Estate shared the listing on its Instagram account, giving followers another look at the Osbournes’ L.A. property and helping put fresh attention on the sale. That social post added another layer of visibility to an already high-profile listing, especially for fans curious to see inside a home tied to one of rock’s most recognizable families. Between the original 2015 purchase, the renewed move-away story, and the new Instagram spotlight, the sale has quickly turned into more than just another luxury real estate headline.

They Once Planned to Leave Los Angeles

What makes the listing more interesting is that this is not the first time the Osbournes have considered leaving Los Angeles behind. In 2022, the couple had already been discussing a return to the U.K., and the home was previously listed before being taken off the market. Around that time, Sharon said she wanted to go back home, while Ozzy also spoke publicly about the idea of leaving the U.S. and returning to England. So this new $17 million listing feels less like a sudden move and more like the continuation of plans they had already been thinking about for years.
