20 years after the Osbourne family left their UK home for LA, they announced that they will be coming back to their motherland and will be back in the reality TV show.

The BBC has recently introduced the new reality television program called Home to Roost, which will feature the story of the Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne’s recent decision to leave the US and return to the UK. The previous show The Osbournes will now be replaced by Home to Roost but the concept of the remains the same.

Known to many, Ozzy has been suffering from health problems for many years now. In 2020, the singer announced in public that he had Parkinson’s disease. Although he claimed that the condition didn’t affect his stage performances, he still had to cancel the North American Tour due to other health struggles.

Aside from his recent injuries, he also had to undergo life-changing surgery because of a fall in 2019 and it left him with 15 screws in his spine. The operation resulted in nerve damage and caused him problems with mobility. After staying in a recovery home, the rocker was able to stand back on his feet.

Two months later he was unbelievably back on stage with his former bandmate, Tony Iommi, for the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Most recently, the Osbourne family opened up about their decision in going back in their home in the UK and they’ve listed their LA mansion for sale for $18 million.

Aside from his health condition, the man also shared that the recent mass shootings in the US made him want to go back from where he came and to die there. It may seem like their decision will close doors for the possibility that he will perform again on stage. However, it’s not over for his fans because as part of their announcement of going back home comes with an announcement that the Osbournes are returning to reality TV.

This time around, the BBC, alongside the Steph Show producer, will be bringing back the classic show instead of MTV who produced their massive The Osbournes. The show will feature the family’s journey returning to their roots and starting fresh in rural Buckinghamshire.

Sharon and Ozzy’s 70th birthday will be one of the most awaited highlights of the show together with Kelly Osbourne’s pregnancy journey with her first child. The new show will demonstrate the family’s raw and honest journey into the new chapter of their life.
