The Prince of Darkness is Back

Ozzy Osbourne teased his new song on Twitter with a thirteen-second audio clip. For months, he’s been dropping hints about a new album which would serve as the follow-up to his 2010 Scream record. It hasn’t been an easy year for him since he was forced to cancel some of his shows after he was hospitalized. He revealed in an interview with The Sun that he used this time to make new music.

He said, “I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. If it wasn’t for making this record, I would still be on traction, thinking, ‘I’m going to be lying here forever.’ I’ve missed music so badly. My fans are so loyal and so good. Up until making the album, I thought I was dying. But that got me off my arse. … It’s the greatest album I’ve done.”

He’ll be back on the road in 2020 as his No More Tours 2 will kick off on May 27 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA and wrap up on July 31 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. His upcoming twelfth studio album titled Ordinary Man will be out on January 2020. It will feature Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.
