An Unlikely Pair
Ozzy Osbourne just released his new collaboration with Post Malone titled “It’s A Raid.” It’s featured on the Prince of Darkness’ latest album “Ordinary Man” which he dropped last February 21. They previously worked together on Malone’s “Take What You Want” track off his Hollywood’s Bleeding LP. Even if you’re not a huge fan of Post Malone, it’s undeniable that he did a splendid job on “It’s A Raid.”
Speaking on SiriusXM, Osbourne revealed the backstory behind it because the inspiration is an actual event in 1972. He said, “It was, I think, when we were recording [Black Sabbath’s] Vol. 4. We rented this house in Bel Air.” He accidentally pushed a button which he thought would turn on the air conditioning. He continued, “I press the fucking button, and in about five minutes, four or five cop cars come screaming down the drive. I’m shouting, ‘It’s a fucking raid!'”
With so much drugs in the house, Osbourne hid in the bathroom and snorted as much cocaine as he could. He added, “I’ve got coke coming out of my fucking ears! I didn’t sleep for four days after that.”
“It’s A Raid” follows “Under the Graveyard” and “Straight to Hell” which Osbourne shared a few weeks back. Another collaborator on his album is Elton John who appears on the title track.
