Old Bonds Are Reborn

In a move that we never saw coming in a million years, Ace Frehley is set to reunite with Gene Simmons for Ace’s new upcoming album.

Gene Simmons revealed that to 92 KQRS and had this to say. “Literally two days ago I was with Ace. He asked me to write for his next solo record. So I went over to his place, way out in the desert some place, and we wrote two things.”

This will mark the first time that Ace and Gene have collaborated musically in 19 years, the last time being in 1998 on Psycho Circus.

Now, my question is this, is this the ice-breaker that KISS needs to get the original lineup back together? With Ace back in good graces, half the battle is already won, now it’d be a matter of getting Peter Criss in good graces. Will it all happen, we’ll just have to wait and see, until then, let’s just all be excited for the new Ace Frehley album!
