Neil Diamond – “Brooklyn Roads” Live
So Many “Feels” In This Memorable Song
During his live performance at the Madison Square Garden in New York City last 2008, Neil Diamond proves that he never lost the power to wow an audience. In fact, he left them quite satisfied but still wanting for more. It was an electrifying and intense series of concerts that definitely pleased the crowd especially as he belts out his timeless classics including this particular track, “Brooklyn Roads” which is reminiscent of his youth.
Brooklyn is not the easiest place to grow up in, although I wouldn’t change that experience for anything. — Neil Diamond
He was teary eyed during his rendition of this epic storytelling. And just recently, he went back to his hometown to do a one-night-only show and perform his greatest hits. When asked by The Wall Street Journal if he took a walk in the neighborhood after his performance at the Erasmus Hall, Neil answered:
I did. I get good vibes from people. There is a thread of DNA that runs from the days that I was a young teenager to these days. It feels good to go back there.
You can just picture his life from being a simple boy to a legendary musician and iconic songwriter!
