Morgan Wallen Surprises Fans with the Release of ‘Abbey Road Sessions’

Country musician Morgan Wallen has delighted his fans by surprise-releasing ‘Abbey Road Sessions’ in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of his chart-topping album, One Thing at a Time. These special sessions were recorded at the renowned Studio Two in Abbey Road Studios on December 5, 2023.

Wallen’s Abbey Road Experience

Reflecting on his experience, Wallen expressed his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to perform and record at Abbey Road, a place steeped in musical history. In a statement, he said,

“Playing the O2 in London last fall and getting to record at Abbey Road, where so much iconic music has been made, was legendary for me and my band. We will never forget it. I’m so excited to release these Abbey Road Sessions for my fans on the one-year anniversary of One Thing at a Time. They make all this possible.”

The seven-track set features five live recordings of songs from One Thing at a Time, along with a previously unreleased track titled “Lies Lies Lies” and a newly recorded cover of Nothing But Thieves’ “Graveyard Whistling.” Wallen has also shared videos on YouTube, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the recording process for each song.

Wallen’s Ongoing Ventures

Currently, Morgan Wallen is on tour, delighting audiences with performances in support of One Thing at a Time. The tour is set to run through the spring and summer, culminating in a highly anticipated two-night stand at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on August 8 and 9.

In addition to his musical endeavors, Wallen has made headlines with the announcement of his plans to open a new venue called This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen in Nashville’s Lower Broadway district. The venue is set to open this summer, adding to the vibrant music scene of the city.
