Metallica and Lady Gaga Set To Perform Together At The Grammys
Hell Yeah!
After her explosive and much-talked about performance during this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show, Lady Gaga will join legendary heavy metal group Metallica on stage during the Grammy Awards. Yes, even though they’ve postponed some of their gigs in Europe this week due to health problems associated with frontman James Hetfield’s vocals. Still, however, they will grace the event alongside Gaga. It may seem like a weird musical match but before she achieved international stardom, Gaga was actually a vocalist in a Led Zeppelin tribute band – remember her insane cover of “Black Dog?” Looks like this is something we all want to look forward to.
Metallica hasn’t appeared at the ceremony since 2014 – back when they collaborated with Lang Lang to play “One.” It’s going to be an exciting night for the band since their most recent album “Hardwired” received a nomination for Best Rock Song. They’ll go against Twenty One Pilots, David Bowie, Radiohead and Highly Suspect.
