A Successful Comeback
Liam Gallagher just released his new album Why Me? Why Not. – the follow-up to his 2017 platinum-certified solo effort As You Were. His highly anticipated comeback is a success with several critics giving his latest LP a thumbs-up. He recently performed one of the tracks, Now That I’ve Found You, on MTV Unplugged and a few days ago, he streamed the lyric video for the same song which you can check out below.
In an interview with Billboard, he spoke about why his follow-up took only less than two years. He said, “First off, I love making music. Oasis should never have split up and Beady Eye [Gallagher’s band between 2009 and 2014] obviously shouldn’t have happened, but it did. I had four years of all my personal stuff going on, so I’ve got some catching up to do. I’ll bang another one out as well. If people are into it, I’ll just keep going. You do need time between records to have a bit of a break and for people to miss you. But I think for this [solo] thing, it was important I did two albums straight away.”
