Following their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Saturday night, Kraftwerk just announced that they’re embarking on a North American tour starting next summer. They will be back with their renowned immersive “3D concerts”. The shows will combine their electronic music with three-dimensional visuals and performance art.

They will kick off their 2022 trek on May 27 at the Pageant in St. Louis, Missouri, and wrap it up on July 10 at the Orpheum Theatre in Vancouver. Tickets will go on sale this November 5.

Kraftwerk originally planned to launch the tour in 2020 to coincide with their 50th anniversary, but it was canceled because of the pandemic.

“Our music is changing in time, so we always play different versions; sometimes we change the tempos and sound,” the band’s lead singer and keyboardist Ralf Hütter told Rolling Stone before their 2015 US trek. “Sometimes there’s different traffic on the autobahn. It’s all real. That’s what makes it interesting. Our compositions are like minimalistic film scripts or theater scripts. We can work with this; it’s never going to be the same. It changes over the years.”
