‘Kingfish’ Ingram Release ‘662’ Video Announces U.S. and European Tour Dates

Christone “Kingfish” Ingram has just shared the music video for his new single “662”, the title track to his new album which arrives on July 23. It’s a tribute to the blues prodigy’s Clarksdale, Mississippi roots and in fact, “662” is his hometown telephone area code. It features 13 songs that showcases the 22-year old’s powerful vocals and virtuosity on the guitar.

“662 is an ode to my roots, a nod to the area where I was born and raised,” Ingram said in a statement. “The title track, 662, encompasses how a small corner of the earth influenced my view of life and music. It also points to the growth I have had since my debut album.”

He also announced an upcoming tour in support of his latest LP. Christone “Kingfish” Ingram Presents 662: Juke Joint Live kicks off on July 23 at the Hard Rock Casino in Gary, IN and wraps up on February 2, 2022 at La Maroquinerie in Paris.
