Julian Lennon recently opened up about his strong connection with his brother Sean during a conversation on the Bill Maher podcast.

In their discussion, Julian revealed that he and his brother have had conversations about potentially collaborating on a project when their schedules align. While Julian didn’t delve into specifics about this project, he highlighted the appealing aspect of working together, as it’s “the whole sibling thing and how our voices should sound together and do sound together.”

He also spoke warmly about his admiration for his brother Sean’s tireless dedication and hard work as a musician. Sean is an active member of multiple bands and is continuously involved in performing, creating, and recording music. Julian then continued:

“He’s always on. I’m very proud of him. I’ve kept my eye on him since he was a baby. I always took that mantle of, even when Dad passed away, ‘Whatever you need, I’m here. I’ve got your back,’ His life isn’t so straightforward. There’s been many ups and downs for him, too.”

Staying Close Through FaceTime and Music

Maintaining their bond, Julian and Sean make a conscious effort to keep in touch, often using FaceTime or Zoom for their chats every few weeks. In terms of their careers, Julian released his seventh studio album, Jude, in September last year. On the other hand, Sean has been an integral part of various bands and has released two solo albums. He also made a notable contribution to Lana Del Rey’s 2017 album, Lust for Life.
