He Says, “What A Week I’ve Had”

Even though tours are starting to resume, the world has not yet gotten rid of coronavirus. It continues to infect people and even take lives. The rock community has not been spared since the pandemic began and the latest musician who’s diagnosed with COVID-19 is Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant.

In the video below which he posted on his Facebook page, he shared how it’s like having coronavirus and how it takes a single person to spread it to several others.

“We are all on quarantine around here due to me coming down with the virus first. And I spread it to everybody else,” he said. “And I had no clue I had it. That’s the scary thing about this virus.”

He then went on to give some advice to those who aren’t feeling well to “go get tested.” He was actually surprised to learn he caught the virus because he already received the Pfizer vaccine.

“But that just goes to show how powerful this virus is,” he continued. “So for those of you who think there is no virus, I’m living proof right now talking to you that there is.”

Even so, he remained optimistic throughout the video and encouraged his fans to regularly wash hands and wear mask.
