Lanie Gardner / Youtube

A Breathtaking Cover

Not every cover needs embellishments or anything fancy. Just take 21-year-old Nashville artist Lanie Gardner for example. Her take on the Fleetwood Mac classic “Dreams” is simply magical and she didn’t just nail it, she sounds so much like Stevie Nicks herself including that lovely rasp in her voice. All you have to do is close your eyes and it’s pretty hard to tell the difference. Mick Fleetwood was blown away after watching this!

Unsurprisingly, many people agree because as of this writing, her video has more than 15 million views on YouTube alone and over 44 million views across various platforms. For the record, we knew it wouldn’t be long before someone decides to sign her and around two months after she posted her cover, she got signed to Republic Records and Jonas Group Entertainment which was founded by The Jonas Brothers dad Kevin Jonas Sr.

Because her voice sounded so amazing, there were those who thought she was lip-synching. Well she laid down those rumors to rest when she came back with another Fleetwood Mac cover – this time, it’s “Rhiannon”. She’s been singing since she was four and she started writing her own songs by 12. So, it’s only a matter of time because she becomes one of the biggest musicians on the planet.
