Ozzy Osbourne has put his foot down. Under no circumstances will you ever see Ozzy make the switch to country music. With the amount of rock (especially classic rock) artists considering and pursuing careers in country music, you can guarantee the “prince of darkness” will never go down that route.  In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Ozzy spilled his thoughts on if he’d ever make the switch.

“Not me, thank you. Personally, I think you should stick to what you know best. If Steven (Tyler)’s having a good time with it, who am I to complain? But it would be absurd for me to do that. I don’t mind country, but the “Prince of Darkness” with a cowboy hat? I’m a rock & roller, not a f****** country bumpkin.”– Ozzy replied.

Obviously, Steven Tyler is experiencing great success with his country music career. Tyler’s album is one of the best selling country albums out right now. But, we agree with Ozzy. Although we’re happy for Steven, there’s no way we can ever imagine Ozzy performing country! We don’t think his voice would sound proper with a twang, nor can we imagine him in blue jeans and a cowboy hat! Steven pulls it off well, but Ozzy…no thanks.
