With a name like Brock Stonefish, it’s no wonder he born with this incredible and rare talent to belt out the blues like it’s nobody’s business! At this point, we cannot really decide what we love more about him- his playing or his voice… Performing a stunning, acoustic rendition of SRV’s “Pride And Joy,” Brock has us putty in his hands…

Inspired by new love Lenny Bailey, SRV wrote “Pride And Joy” to tell the world how much his love meant to him. We hear this song covered quite a bit and we have posted a lot of these videos, however, Brock has something that most artists work their entire lives to practice, tone and develop– but you can tell that he was just born with it.

Interesting Fact: Stevie played this with Albert King on the album In Session, which was recorded live in 1983.

When you first see him playing, you think it’s going to be this average SRV cover and you see that he is pretty good on the acoustic guitar, but just wait until he opens his mouth and lets the soul of every blues singer and artist out with ease. It will fill you with wonder, awe and excitement just as it did for us and we can definitely say that Stevie would have loved Brock.
