Guns N’ Roses have recently performed their rendition of the 1994 Soundgarden hit, “Black Hole Sun“, during a June 20 show in Warsaw, Poland.

The band started playing the song in 2017 as a tribute to Chris Cornell, following the singer’s passing in a Detroit, MI hotel room while on tour with Soundgarden.

Guns N’ Roses are still on the road with their ongoing tour with a June 25 appearance at France’s Hellfest, a June 28 stop in Dublin, IE and two shows in London, UK on July 1 and 2. They will be wrapping up in Hanover, Germany on July 15.

Since the band kicked off their European tour on June 4 at Passeio Marítimo de Alges, Oeiras in Portugal, they have been surprising the crowd with songs on their set list. On their June 18 stop in Prague, Czech Republic, they performed their Chinese Democracy classic “Street of Dreams,” which marks as the first time Slash and Duff McKagan have played the song alongside Axl Rose.

While on their first stop, the band played “Reckless Life” for the first time since 1993 and “You’re Crazy” for the first time since 1991. They have also added some AC/DC’s classic on their set lists such as “Walk All Over You” and “Back In Black.”
