That Was Epic – Check It Out
Greta Van Fleet played at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado last year for their March Of The Peaceful Army tour. Back in April, the band proved that rock ‘n roll was alive and kicking in 2021 when they released their sophomore album titled “The Battle at Garden’s Gate”. It was a pretty amazing record. Greta Van Fleet has finally come into their own as musicians.
There were still haters who accused them of being copycats, but their sound and performances have improved quite a lot.
“It sort of spirals, and at some point you go: ‘Wow, when did it get to this point?!’” Jake Kiszka said in an interview with Classic Rock magazine. “When has it evolved to such a degree where we’re touring with all this equipment, all of these people, all of this gear… So yeah, it’s been wild.”
“It’s generating a lot and it’s fuelling you and… it gives you the ability to give that back to so many people,” Josh explained. “So it is really an incredibly spiritual process. I’ve been able to grow on an intellectual level, on a spiritual level, in so many ways. I always have to be conscious of the ego too! Which is an impossible task.”
