Malinda Herman has been racking up big numbers on her YouTube channel with several of her covers going viral. But it was three months ago when she became a YouTube sensation after her rendition of “Hey Jude” featuring her beloved chihuahua made rounds on the internet. As of this writing, it already amassed 4.3 million views!

Recently, she took on another Beatles classic – the 1968 timeless track “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” from the musical masterpiece White Album. And of course, the video features Jewjam perched on her guitar. Jewjam doesn’t just have a stellar taste in music (all thanks to Malinda) but her adorable furry friend is also her #1 fan. Check out the cover – it’s the loveliest thing you’ll see today.

“Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” was written by Paul McCartney. John Lennon wasn’t a huge fan of the song and THAT coupled with Macca’s perfectionism made their recording sessions almost unbearable for the staff and Macca’s bandmates. McCartney said, “It’s a very me song, in as much as it’s a fantasy about a couple of people who don’t really exist, Desmond and Molly. I’m keen on names too. Desmond is a very Caribbean name.”

Nevertheless, “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da” enjoyed massive popularity and since 2009 has become a staple in McCartney’s concert repertoire.
