He just wasn’t having it
Well, KISS frontman Gene Simmons is in the news once again, but this time it’s involving his fans. Twitter has become a way for fans and celebrities to be able to connect with each other on a more personal level. Fans can simply tweet a celebrity, and a celebrity can choose to either respond, or ignore. Well, over the weekend it was hard for Gene Simmons to ignore a vast amount of internet jokes that were floating around that involved him.
People began tweeting pictures of people to Gene that resembled him in some way. Some of the “dopplgangers” showed some resemblance to Gene, but others looked nothing like him. Gene took exception to some of them, by ignoring the joke and just firmly tweeting back to the fans that the person in the picture wasn’t him. But after a while, the joke finally caught on, and Gene had a little bit of fun with some of his followers.
Check out some of the tweets down below, they’re pretty funny.
