Freddie Mercury Revealed To Have A Secret Daughter

A woman in Europe has come forward claiming she’s the daughter of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. Now 48 years old and working as a medical professional, she says Mercury fathered her during an affair in 1976 and maintained a close, loving relationship with her until his death in 1991. According to her, he even gifted her 17 private journals, filled with thoughts, memories, and reflections he wrote starting from the moment he learned he was going to be a father.

The story is explored in the new book Love, Freddie by biographer Lesley-Ann Jones. “My instinct was to doubt everything,” Jones told the Daily Mail, “but I am absolutely sure she is not a fantasist. No one could have faked all this.”

A Bond Kept Quiet for Decades

In a letter shared with Jones, the woman stated, “Freddie Mercury was and is my father. We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life.” She acknowledged the circumstances of her birth were “unusual and even outrageous” but said it never changed Mercury’s devotion. “He cherished me like a treasured possession.”
Her existence had reportedly only been known by members of Mercury’s trusted inner circle—until now.

Why She’s Speaking Out Today

After decades of silence, she said it’s time for the truth to come out. She wrote:

“After more than three decades of lies, speculation and distortion, it is time to let Freddie speak.
“Those who have been aware of my existence kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie.”

Now, in her late 40s, she’s ready to tell her story on her own terms. She wrote:

“He entrusted his collection of private notebooks to me, his only child and his next of kin.
“The written record of his private thoughts, memories and feelings about everything he had experienced.”
