Footage Of Buckingham’s Final Fleetwood Mac Show Surfaces
It’s been a year since Lindsey Buckingham was unceremoniously bounced from Fleetwood Mac, his 43 year stint with the band brought to an end by an ultimatum issued by former bandmate, Stevie Nicks.
But before the lawsuits and lineup changes, Fleetwood Mac as we knew it had one last hurrah at last year’s MusiCares Person of the Year celebration where they were to perform and be honored for their “significant creative accomplishments and their longtime support of a number of charitable causes, including MusiCares, the premier safety net of critical resources for the music industry.”

It was to be Lindsey Buckingham’s final performance with Fleetwood Mac.
With a lineup rounded out by the addition of special guest Harry Styles, Fleetwood Mac delivered a brief but explosive set that included classics like “Little Lies,” “Tusk,” “Gold Dust Woman” and “Go Your Own Way,” but it was their performance of “The Chain” that ultimately closed out the Lindsey Buckingham chapter of Fleetwood Mac’s story.

Ironic, considering that “The Chain” has come to represent the band’s ability to overcome everything life and love had to throw at them.
Fair warning – the video you’re about to see was shot by a Harry Styles fan, as evidenced by the fact that this person keeps screaming “Harry’s on stage with them!” the entire time and has the camera focused on him and only him for the better part of the video. Still, though, it’s the only glimpse of Lindsey during his last Fleetwood Mac performance (that we know of), and if you can make it past Harry Styles dominating most of the video, it’s pretty damned good.
Be sure to check it out just below this article and while you’re at it, send some love over to Lindsey; right now he’s recovering from emergency open heart surgery, and could use all the support he can get!
