David Lee Roth, the legendary former frontman of Van Halen, has unveiled plans for a 30-date tour across the United States and Canada. The trek will kick off on April 16 in Airway Heights, Washington, and is scheduled to wrap on August 7 in Sturgis, South Dakota.

Roth returned to live performance in May 2025 after a five-year break, debuting an eight-piece band—including a four-member backing vocal ensemble—at the M3 Festival. Reflecting on his hiatus, the singer quipped, “We’ve reached the end of my first retirement. How many retirements did Rocky have, nine?”

Ticket Information and Tour Dates

Fans can access pre-sale tickets starting Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 10 a.m. local time, with the general public on-sale following on Friday, Jan. 9 at 10 a.m. local time. Roth’s full 2026 tour schedule has been released, covering a wide swath of North American venues and cities.

A Solo Career in Context

While Roth has sporadically released standalone singles over the past several years, it has been more than two decades since his last solo album. His most recent major recording contribution was on Van Halen’s 2012 reunion album, A Different Kind of Truth. With this tour, Roth not only celebrates his storied career but also offers fans a rare chance to experience his energetic live show, blending classic hits with the vitality of a newly assembled band.
